Size guide

The Sharpei Sweater is meant to have an oversize fit with dropped shoulders and should have a 'postive ease' of approx. 20-30 cm // 8-12 inches.

If your bust circumference measures approx. 75-85 (86-98) 100-110 (115-125) 130-140
cm // 29½-33½ (33¾-38¾) 39½-43¼ (45¼-49¼) 51¼-55 inches you should knit a size 1 (2) 3 (4) 5

Because of the technique used, the sweater will not have much give, length wise, but it will grow in width. Keep this in mind when choosing a size and when deciding how long you want to knit the body.

Example: The model shown in the picture has a bust circumference of 89 cm // 35 inches, measures 159 cm tall // 5 ft 3 inches in height, and is wearing a size 2. The sweater worn therefore has a 29 cm // 11½ inch positive ease.

The length of the sleeves and body can be altered - if you wish to make them longer than instructed in the pattern, be mindful to buy enough extra yarn since the plissé structure calls for more yarn than a normal sweater.
